A few helpful notes, especially for our guests traveling from abroad.

When should I RSVP by?

Kindly RSVP via this link by June 8th, 2026.

How should I get to the venue?

We will have shuttles running from Merrion Square, which is near all of our recommended hotels in Dublin, before and after our celebration to transport guests. The shuttle will also stop at the Castle Knock Hotel. Dublin also has a vast taxi, uber, and public transportation infrastructure. If you do choose to drive, there is onsite parking available.

The shuttle will pick up from Merrion Square W near the Rutland Fountain at 3 PM and run drop off service between 11 PM and 1:30 AM. The shuttle is a big red bus that says FINNEGANS BRAY on it.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Our dress code is black tie, and we hope you'll have fun with it. We’re looking for tuxedos, floor-length gowns, formal jumpsuits, or similarly sophisticated attire. We welcome all expressions of style - please dress in a way that feels right for you while honoring the overall formality.

While it's called "black tie," that doesn’t mean you have to wear black. We encourage you to not shy away from color! It’s August, it’s joyful, and we’d love to see vibrant, celebratory looks. Need inspiration? view our Pinterest.

What is the dress code for welcome drinks?

We recommend a smart casual attire. Think polished but relaxed—breezy dresses, linen, or dress shirts and trousers. Feel free to embrace color and style for the season, but please, no shorts or flip-flops.

Should I bring a gift?

Your presence truly means the world to us, and we have everything we need. We’re not expecting gifts—but if you feel strongly, we do have a registry linked above to gift to us or to our favorite charities (Hers: NPR & His: the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation).

Are kids welcome?

While the event is adult-focused, we’re offering onsite childcare for those traveling with little ones. Please decide your attendance based on what works best for your family.

What if I can't make it?

We’ll miss you, but we completely understand. Whether near or far, your well wishes and thoughts on our special day will be deeply appreciated. Thank you for being a part of our journey, no matter the distance.

What are the travel requirements to enter Ireland?

All you need is a valid passport! We recommend it be valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates. U.S. citizens don’t need a visa or extra documents.

What if I enter through a different country?

Be sure to check the visa requirements for any country you are traveling to. If you are planning to travel through other EU countries as part of your trip, keep an eye on ETIAS travel authorization rules—they're expected to start in late 2026.

What else should I know about flying in and out of Dublin?

Airport specific requirements change often, view the Dublin airport website for up to date rules on carry-on and airport policies.

What will the weather be like?

Irish weather is famously unpredictable. Expect mild temps (55–70°F) and maybe a sun-shower or two. Layers and a light rain jacket are your friends!

How should I get around Dublin?

Dublin has great public transport—buses, trams, and trains. It’s easy to get around without a car!

What if I want to rent a car?

If you're exploring beyond Dublin, renting a car can be a great option. Just note: they drive on the left, and most rentals are manual—be sure to request an automatic if needed. You won’t want to try learning how to drive stick shift while also remembering to drive on the “opposite” side of the road.

Aren’t y’all already married?

It’s true! We were legally married at the Seattle courthouse on August 8, 2025. It was an intimate ceremony with just our parents and brothers by our sides. But that was just paperwork! We can’t wait to exchange vows and celebrate with all our friends and family in Ireland.
